I like the most about living here was: There are always different conversations going on. You're talking to different people, meeting new people. There's no single one that stands out but just the memory of the “Sense of community”, when we would all come together and just be like one, big international family. And definitely the parties. Such as welcome parties, bye-bye parties. It is just the sense of community at the end of the night! Borderless House did really help a lot because I was the most worried about just being alone in a country where you don't understand anything with the language barriers. Such as the Borderless House staff would gather events to meet new people. My housemates have been very helpful as well. They would make a phone call for you, and go to the ward office with you. So those difficulties were solved due to my own research as well as the support of my housemates and the staff here.

Thank you all BH staff, you were so amazing! Both for service and choosing great roommates!

A nice house and great neighborhood. Close to two other Borderless House so it’s easy to find people to spend time with. Thank you for the happy memories!

I really didn't feel like there was an adjustment period at all after moving. I felt like i had known my roommate for a long time. Website were good friends right away ! We did lots of things together.

Enjoying many nights in the Kitchen, relaxing with everyone, chilling being ourselves:)

This is my first time living abroad, and I'm so happy I did it through Borderless house. I'll forever cherish all the moments I made here with everyone. I'll definitely miss our BBQ's, watching movies together and studying on the terrance the most!

I loved living in this share house! I have the sweetest roommates and I went to Hokkaido with housemates. I am sad to leave!

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Nihonbashi house. I especially enjoyed the traditional Japanese style to the house, while being in the center of modern Tokyo. But most of all, I was so happy to see that the Borderless House staff put a great effort to ensure that the gender and nationality ratios were balanced so I always had a friend and interesting housemates to talk with. Thank you so much Borderless House for the amazing memories I have been able to create here!!!

This share house was not just a place to sleep, these people became my family. With housemates, I traveled to Nikko, Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe. I will never forget my time in Sangenjaya2!

I had such a great time living here! The share house was great, sometimes a little dirty, but mostly all the amenities worked well. My share roommates were super friendly and the BORDERLESS SHARE HOUSE staffs were very helpful!

I had a good time in borderless share house. Everyone was easy to get along with and the share house has a very 'lived in' feel. Share housemates change often but people usually like to go out to bars and izakaya so there's always something to do.

The share house is in a convenient location and has a warm atmosphere. The train is a little noisy,,,

Osaki Share House is a very good location and is convenient to go anywhere in Tokyo. The neighborhood is also nice and peaceful. I had many different roommates over this 6 months and it was fun to meet lots of new people.

I had a great stay. But you should hire a cleaning crew.

It was the bets experience of my life and certainly the best part of Japan for me. I have pleasant memories that going on various trips to Shizuoka, Kamakura, Yatsugatake together.

I had a lot of fun with the borderless share house residents next door. There should be more men living in the share house because too many girls living together causes problems.

It was my second stay at Hatagaya Share House - I left this House after the earthquake and came back. Everything is fine, I liked my room. Location is also good, Shinjuku is very close. I hope to come back here again! -Dec. 15th 2012
